@ people who read A Dangerous Destiny- no Pheasantstar is not trying to make a move on Driftstar, it's just an inside joke. They were really close as deputies and when they became leaders they retained that. Rainclan and Sunclan were really good allies until Toadstar became leader and Driftstar died.

Eventually, Sol told him of a clan far away (Skyclan), and to get to it he had to follow the river in the park to it's end, and that was Skyclan's camp (Darktail was maybe 10 moons now.) Sol told him about how Skyclan had first betrayed him, and Darktail promised to make Skyclan pay for wronging him. Neither of them ever having made the journey, they went together, eventually building Darktail's posse of Flame, Nettle, Rain, Roach (who named himself Roach on the spot because Rain [who lived with him who he has a not-so-subtle cruch on] liked joking his name was Cricket.) Raven, and Slit. Eventually they were attacked by foxes, which killed Sol, who said to Darktail: "Avenge me, son. Give em hell." While Darktail mourned the death of a cat who he had grown to call family. This made him bitter beyond all belief, and led to Skyclan's exile. Then the rest of the plot of the Apprentice's Quest and Thunder and Shadow play out as normal, with a few minor tweaks by me because I don't think any Warriors book is perfect (except Skyclan's Destiny and you can fight me about that.) [2/2 or 3. idk.]

So, since I'm apparently going to be Warriors Reduex the Third the Fourth (Thanks WA! Pleaselettheresultschange) and because I /loathe/ the thought of having Kestrel, Hare and Heather in anyway related to Darktail, and the fact Onestar cheated on Whitetail, and the fact Darktail is /old as fuck/, I have to change Darktail's parentage.
          His mother will now be called Caramel, and will be a tortie van. Some sweet kittypet who lived in the new city upon the old forest. 
          His father? The cat that gave him any connection to the clans? /Silk./ Yeah, y'know, the father of Fernfoot's kits in HR? That guy. Sometime before he met Fern he and Caramel did it; he and his Twolegs were on a summer trip to the lake. Still gives him some unintentional connection to the clans.
          Also, once Darktail was adopted, he was exploring and met Sol, and the tom took him under his wing, eventually telling him about the clans, and how they betrayed him, thus fueling his hatred of the clans instead of the shit excuse they didn't "accept him."
          Plus, why not have Sol? He was a fabulous manipulator~ plus, Darktail was only about 8 moons. Impressionable lil' thing. The only exposure he had to other cats were when his mother's owners and his owners either gave him playdates with their friend's cats or let him roam. (I should turn this into a story by itself. Might make a book of changes.)  [1/2 or 3. idk.]

how's the prophecy "There will be three, kin of your kin, then kin of them, that hold the fate of the stars in their paws.
