Unpopular opinion: (Regarding SU)
Even though Peridot has "redeemed" herself, she still sorta isn't even that awesome. She was cooler before, and now she's just a joke. She's just a clod that failed to murder everyone several times and was so stupid and incapable that the CG's let her hang out until they could tolerate her.
(I'm sorry if this offends anyone, please disagree if you do, I need a better explanation then- 'She's short, cute, silly and annoying!' Because funny faces and an over-extended arc doesn't justify how romanticised she is amoung the SU fandom.
