Hi, I’m a bit confused about your Werebear series. I’m really eager to read them but Book 1 is incomplete with a status of ‘Ongoing’ and is last update was August 2023. But then Book 2 was recently updated (in 2024) and is ‘Complete’, then Book 3 & 4 were both ‘Complete’ with last updates in August 2023. 
          So obviously I’m I want to read then in consecutive order but wondering why Book 1 isn’t yet finished. Do I need to read them consecutively or are the books ‘Standalone’ within the series? It just that they seem to feature Brothers and guessed there were some correlation between books. Please let me know as I am super eager to read them. Thanks

Thank you so much for taking the time to get back to me about the series. I see where my confusion has come from. It was mostly that Book 1 was ONGOING (thinking it was unfinished with an older date), yet the next three were COMPLETE. Also reading each of the synopsises, it seemed there were character links between stories. 
            I’m so glad that all are finished as I’m super excited to dive in. Also appreciate knowing there is a chronological order to them to make understanding clearer and not reading one book to then go backward in the overall storyline that runs through all of them. Also nothing worse than becoming totally confused and having to reference back to another book you’ve previously read in order to make clear connections - have had it happen before.

@SnowfakesElegance Hi, all books are finished. The dates are just to inform people when I had last edited/rewritten some parts of the story and is not meant to show that it is not complete. If I am editing/rewriting a book, I will note that I am doing so on the story description. I have tried to write them as stand alone; however, it might be clearer to be read consecutively. Thank you.

@JenK256 Hi, thanks for checking in. Writing is a hobby for me. So it ebs and flows, and life happens. But it is happening. Just slowly.
