Belated Happy Holidays to everyone! I was going to come on a few days ago but this heatwave Brisbane had a few days ago was nuts. Christmas morning at 9am and it was already 35°C (95°F) where I live!
          	
          	I'd hoped to publish my next book before the end of the year but a week ago I decided to shelve the half-written book. I wasn't happy with it and I'd been fighting for over a year with it. It's not gone, just on the back-burner. The good news is I have an amazing book in the works and I'm so excited for it!
          	
          	I hope you have a wonderful last week of the year and here's to an incredible 2026!

@Hopeless_roMINtic I can only imagine lol. Thank you. I went to lunch with a friend for December 25, but nothing other than that, really. Keychains? That sounds fun. Will you be selling them at the venue?
          	  
          	  I've never been to an ATEEZ concert myself, but you're in for a treat, especially with the Demon Line lol (a K-Pop act finally decided to do concerts in Australia, yay!). 
          	  
          	  I can't wait to see (or read?) what you've written. AO3 is always better as a backup, especially for the more 'mature' material. God bless that platform for preserving art lmao.

@Chatayer hahaha cold Christmases are weird for me. I had two when I lived in China and I wasn't a fan... felt so strange and foreign. I hope you had a good Christmas (if you celebrate) and new year. I have spent my last day of 2025 and first day of 2026 hard at work - yesterday I was busy making resin keychains to take to the Ateez concerts I'm going to in March (eeep, they're happening this year!) and today I have written the plot synopses for the new trilogy saga I am writing next. Yep, you heard that right, I'm writing 3 books. I am still planning them but they're going to be epic. Although, I'm thinking they may get me booted off WP (they're more risque than Music & Butterflies), so I may have to post them onto other platforms too hahaha

I am in a love/hate relationship with this Yoongi book I am currently writing. I love the story, the concept, the characters and what I've written so far... but I have had to wade through a few bouts of writer's block. I promise you it is coming just slowly.
          
          I have been tweaking my plan and outline the past couple of days and this book will definitely be my longest, both in terms of chapters and word count (to put it this way, just my chapter outline document is creeping up to 105,000 words). I am just about to write chapter 41, and so far I have 89 planned... but I still don't know how the final third of the unplanned book will go yet. I do have the Epilogue planned out, so I know how it's finishing hahaha.
          
          Anyway, thank you for your love on my other books, I really appreciate it. Enjoy FESTA, the return of the rest of the guys over the next few weeks (I cannot wait to see Jiminie and Yoongi again!!!) and all the excitement that discharged OT7 brings.

I have a new book coming out very soon. I was planning on releasing The Sweetest Promise this week, but it may get pushed back. There is a cyclone heading right for Brisbane and it's looking like where I live will be where it makes landfall. I will endeavour to get the book out this week pending the weather, so keep your eyes peeled for the announcement.

I'm happy to say that all of the chapters for Copacabana are edited and uploaded! My brain and back are planning a big celebration of doing nothing tomorrow.
          
          Thank you to the people who have been reading and showing it love. I am so very grateful for you reading my books, and it fills my heart with so much joy to hear that you love them as much as I do.

Author-nim, the prologue I read was amazing! I hope you post more chapters.
          I'd suggest that you post all the chapters IF you will be able to complete the editing in a short amount of time, because I am an impatient person. BUT if you cannot or your schedule doesn't allow you to, I'll be happy with regular 1-2 chapter updates.

@Dont_bother18 thank you! That is so sweet of you to say. I started editing last night and almost onto my third chapter. You're the second person to say they want the chapters posted together, which is the normal way I do my books. I am hoping that it won't take me too long to edit the book, maybe a week or two.

My fourth book, Copacabana, is done! I have published the prologue as a teaser. I have a question for you guys... which would you prefer?
          1. Publish the book in its entirety when I'm done editing (all 59 remaining chapters at once)
          2. Publish chapters individually as I edit them

@Hopeless_roMINtic I suggest going with option 2, because it'll give you more engagement as readers get excited about the next update, and this way, more people will be tempted to read--that also gives you a fixed schedule to work with.

@ajanee24 thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying Copacabana. I normally do post all the chapters together, which is what I think I will do for this one too. I am almost up to my third chapter, and I started editing late last night. I'm hoping to get it done in the next week or two as my next book is raring to go
