          And listen, I am ALL for a long introspection scene. I do it quite often with Ellianna. I love getting inside a character’s head and letting them spiral for five business days.
          
          But this man???
          
          Edward, respectfully, can I please leave your tortured little Victorian brain for TWO SECONDS. You don't like the girl, you want to kill her and if you do you have to kill the whole class, you hate yourself, her blood smells nice--Great we get it. 
          
          Rereading Midnight Sun for DV is going to kill me.

          Tomorrow night, I finally get to welcome you all to Forks, Washington...with the added addition of one Ellianna Amelia Hale.
          
          I am so sorry for the completely undeserved and entirely-my-fault delay. You have all been far more patient with me than I deserve, and as always I cannot thank you enough for sticking with me. ❤️
          
          But the wait is officially over.

          Tiny chapter 45 update.
          
          I wasn't satisfied with the chapter I had written for Tuesday, so naturally I did the completely sane and reasonable thing and scrapped it and started again. And now the new version has sort of… taken on a life of its own. Which is GOOD. I actually like it so much more. But it also means it is taking me longer than I originally planned because the chapter has apparently decided it is in charge now.
          
          I've also been procrastinating slightly because my brain, which should be working on DV, decided this was the perfect time to come up with an idea for an actual book. Like an original, someday-I-could-actually-publish-this book.
          
          Am I ready to write said book? Absolutely not lmao. My writing is nowhere near as developed as I want it to be yet, and I genuinely think I need to write a LOT more fanfiction, read a lot more, experiment, make mistakes and figure out what kind of writer I actually am before I attempt it properly.
          
          But I  have been having an unreasonable amount of fun building the entire architecture of this 'future' book instead of finishing the chapter I am supposed to be writing for you guys. .hehe :)
          
          AND THEN, because apparently I needed another side quest, I am a fully grown adult (sometimes) whose mother told her to clean her room today.
          
          It has taken me. The entire. Day.
          
          I genuinely don't understand how I can pick something up, walk three steps to put it away, discover something else, start doing something with that, remember another thing I was supposed to do, somehow end up sitting on the floor looking through something I haven't touched in four years, and then look up and FOUR HOURS HAVE PASSED.
          
          Undiagnosed ADHD is fun
          
          ANYWAY. The chapter is coming. I promise I have not abandoned you. I just accidentally rewrote the entire thing, started architecting a novel I am nowhere near ready to write, and lost a battle against my bedroom.
          
          Very productive over here. Clearly.

          TikTok literally has me so scared bro :( I might actually remove DV from here and just move it to AO3 altogether.
          
          Crying because why can’t I sleep because of this shit :( I’m supposed to be worrying about chapter 45 and my one retake exam today that they put in the middle of freaking summer vacation, not having an existential crisis over whether I’m allowed to post my vampire fanfiction on here because it is discriptive about everything :(

          So, Wattpad changed their rules, which is honestly fine—I understand. From everything I’ve read, my stories seem to fit within the new rules, but, you know, nothing is ever a guarantee :(
          
          I’ll absolutely keep writing and posting here, so don’t worry about that! But I’m also thinking about posting my stories on AO3 as well, just so there’s another place where you can find them.
          
          Even if AO3 intimidates the absolute sh*t out of me lol. I open that website and suddenly feel like someone’s sweet but technologically challenged grandmother.
          
          Anyway, nothing is changing here! Just thinking about expanding our little corner of the internet ❤️
