Ever since I could remember, I have loved to read. Reading helped me escape from my life and enter a new one that always made more sense to me then the life that was mine.
I began escaping into my daydreams too, and eventually, I felt the need to write everything down.
My stories are the lives I have created for myself. The better ones. The ones I wished I lived, the lives that make more sense to me than the one I'm really in.
Pathetic, I know. But it's true.
"Do you know something, Mr. Brandon?
If I had to choose between extreme happiness, and extreme sorrow, I would always choose sorrow.
For when you are happy you forget, forget about spiritual things. You forget about God. But in your sorrow, he is always with you."
-Queen Katherine of Aragon; The Tudors.
"The heart was a weak, changeable thing, bent on nothing but love, and there could be no more fatal mistake than to make it your master. Reason must be in charge. It comforted you for your heart's foolishness, it sang mocking songs about love, derided it as a whim of nature, transient as flowers."
-Violante; Inkdeath
"You know you are a poet when your heart aches, but you can't communicate, unless you write it down."
-Poetri
