I find your take on the concept of machines/bots taking over and humans being literally caged and given specific roles by the bots intriguing. I appreciate that you explained it from the perspective of humans who had accepted their fate, unable to fathom what a world where they were free would be like. I believe the book drew some good real-life parallels without being obvious. Some parallels I could see were performances in cages to entertain, similar to the things people do on TikTok or Reels. I also appreciate how you brought attention to tracking for ads, algorithms on social media, etc., tracking your activities, Google Assistant/Alexa listening in to gather information and then influence you, and how devices that were initially used just for communication have become so much more. Your story paints a Black Mirror-like picture, making you take a good look at what we may lose in our attempt to progress and innovate. We lose who we are, what we are. We lose our humanity.
