          Recently, two academic campuses of universities in Bandung were assaulted. According to some sources, a large group of non-students entered the campus area. Despite efforts by campus security to prevent their entry, they managed to breach the campus. Subsequently, the police pursued and apprehended them within the campus perimeter. This led to an unavoidable conflict, turning the campus into a battleground as the police clashed with the intruders. The two universities were deserted, except for administrative staff, lecturers, and a few students handling administrative matters.
          
          A noteworthy development was that the protests and resulting violence attracted the attention of the United Nations, which issued a warning regarding police violence against protestors and restrictions on the press.
          
          Although an external incident, an Indonesian diplomat for Peru was tragically shot dead, which is particularly shocking considering Indonesia's current state of chaos.
          
          Returning to the main topic, the House of Representatives (DPR) has finally listened to the people's grievances and initiated discussions with key figures from the protests. Additionally, there was a televised program showcasing debates between government representatives and protest activists, which proved to be quite engaging.
