          Esmeralda felt her heart swell as Carmen put her hands on Esmeralda's cheeks. Her eyes gained little sparkles in them and she smiled brightly. 
          "You are going to make Mami die from your adorableness!" Esmeralda giggles as she tickles the baby a little.

          Esmeralda couldn't help but aww a little at how adorable the baby was being as she gave the baby her hand to play with.  Seeing that the baby had no form of identification, she hummed in thought. What would she name her?
          "Carmen. How does that name sound Niña?" she asks her curiously.

          "¡Aye, tu es muy bonita!" Esmeralda says gently to the new baby, her gently smile only widening. She used her foot to close the front door before she sits down on the couch. This was now Esmeralda's child and she'd make sure to keep it safe. Then she realized, she didn't even know if the child had a name or not.

          Esmeralda hummed softly as she heard the knock. She had went to reply with her usual "come in!" as her door was normally unlocked but then she heard the baby crying so she rushed over, thinking that perhaps a mother needed her help. When she opened the door to see only the baby, she was shocked, almost hurt as she picked up the baby, gently rocking it in her arms. 
          
          She looked around to look for the mother but upon not finding one, she walked back into the house. 
          
          "Shh, niña, you are okay," Esmeralda spoke softly and calmly as she rocked the child gently with a soft smile.
