As an Australian I watch on and I pray for America and their people. I pray for all the lives lost in and before the blm protests and I pray for the lives lost due to the coronavirus that some Americans still chose to ignore. Remember when you’re protesting, You’re movement is important but your own lives are more important. When the cops or national guards come with guns- run. Run and hide, be safe. Be safe, so you can continue to fight. The world watches on, and they pray. Not for lives of the cops but for lives of the lost and protesting. I pray for you and I’m rooting for you. In the famous words of MLK “a riot is the language of the unheard” and it’s clear that your government did hear you. But not for change, for extermination. I’m scared for you and I’m angry with you, they’ve noticed you and now you have to be careful because you could lose your lives.
Remember if you continue to protest cover up tattoos, cover up your face, change hair colours and wear as much clothes as possible and clothes you wouldn’t normally wear. Don’t wear anything that can be tracked back to you and if you use any public transport don’t use anything that could be tracked back to you either.
If you get tear gassed remember 3 teaspoons of baking powder for every 8.5 ounces of water, will neutralise tear gas.
If you’re not actively protesting by water, milk and food. I’ve heard shops aren’t allowing you to be them, so buy those items for them.
That’s it, just please be safe. You’re voices are important but so are your lives.
