It is sad and upsetting what is happening and what has been happening in this country for centuries. I am tired of seeing the struggle that black Americans are faced with. It is ridiculous that the people who are sworn in to protect us seem to be doing nothing but killing us. We live in a society that criminalizes the victims and victimizes the attackers. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! This didn’t start with George Floyd he was our breaking point. Not only was he unarmed, he was handcuffed and complying and yet he was still MURDERED by those whose job is to protect and serve. He wasn’t the first and unfortunately he won’t be the last. You can’t treat people like they are less then human and expect no repercussions. We are sick and tired of the same thing happening over and over and over again. I fear for my life, my brother’s, my father’s and the life of anyone who looks like me. 
          
          All lives won’t matter until black lives do too. It’s time to stop tolerating the intolerable. Ignorance is a privilege, and it’s one that people who look like me and other POCs don’t have. Every voice makes a difference and I encourage, I beg that everyone use theirs. Stand up against police brutality, stand up against prejudice, and stand up against racism. Change starts with you #BlackLivesMatter #RestInPowerMyFallenBrothersandSisters.
