Wolv came up on my recommended list a little while ago and since I started it, I have been reading every spare second I have while trying to finish my college program online during this pandemic (without this series I would be much more productive but much less happy lol). I really must praise the author, it's probably the most unique book series I've read in the werewolf genre! I loved Humfrey's character development, and your descriptions of the wolv transformations are by far the most believable and realistic I have encountered. Your storytelling ability is absolutely immersive and well thought out.
I am living in Central Ontario at the moment and I'm so glad to read from a Canadian writer! Especially when your story is also set in Canada! We need more of you! I liked that I got to learn a lot about the Manitoban geography and about some of the Indigenous language and culture of the area through your writing. I did a specialization in linguistics when I went to university, so you could say I'm a bit of a language nerd!
Overall, I would recommend the Wolv series to anyone looking for a departure into a convincingly wayward world filled with wolvs and wilderness. (P.s. alliteration is fun!)
Highly recommend!
