After nearly two years without a new chapter (ignoring re-writes and slight thematic enhancements to the early chapters, more of which will come) a new WildeHood chapter is coming tomorrow, August 26th! Ooh-De-Lally! God bless you all for your continued, overwhelming support of my little passion project. Now that I finally have more to read and write, I'm reminded how hilarious, peaceful, and therapeutic this story is.

I apologize for not updating WildeHood bi-monthly for the past little while. Since I graduated high school last May I have been overwhelmed by college and work, but my depression has been what's keeping me from writing. Opposite to what most authors would tell you, I write best before bed time, which is when my depression and headaches are at their worst. I've learned that it's very hard to put yourself in your characters' shoes when you aren't enjoying, and are confused by, your own life. I'm doing the best I can and a new chapter should be out shortly.

No, Chapter 7 will not come in parts, though it's long enough to. The only reason I do that is because Wattpad recommends keeping chapters shorter than 2,000 words for readers on the go. There's really no space I want to cut this one at.

As a correction to my previous post, that totally wasn't an accident! I gave you a Black Friday preview, that's all! <.<

I'm continuing to make some clarifications to Chapter 1 and can't help but notice that everytime I type 'coronation' it autocorrects to 'coronavirus'. So, if there's one I didn't go back to fix, please let me know. We don't want Prince John having the coronavirus...or the crown, for that matter.

AUTHOR'S NOTE TIME (YAY, I LOVE TALKING)!

First off, for those who didn't notice, we have been hitting #1 in Zootopia off and on for the past few weeks, so that's great!

I am trying to get Chapter 7 done before the end of November, so that I'll have uploaded a full chapter each month for 2 or 3 months now, but it's not looking likely. It shan't be much longer, though! Nor shall the wait for Chapter 8 be much longer after that, since I've literally unknowingly been working on parts of that one for a year now...geesh...

The reason for this post however, actually has to do with Chapter 1. Some feedback is telling me that the scene between King Richard, Vixen, and Robin was a little cloudy and brushed over afterwards, so it's been reworded a bit. Part of it has to do with the fact that King Richard DID brush over it...that's his fabricated reaction to it. His relationship to Vixen is very closely related to how Mayor Lionheart brushed over his whole insane asylum gig. In order to keep his kingdom from frickin disintigrating in his absence, he HAD to lie about it. Apparently, that wasn't clear enough, so I added a line where a certain moose in the audience addresses this...

PLEASE, peasants, I BEG OF YOU. Any little thing like that, that you find corny or that not enough emphases was placed on, please let me know. The thing I love about Wattpad is that it really gives rising authors a break by letting the audience have as much to do with the progressing story as the author, so please, help me to take advantage of that!

Happy Turkey Day next week!!! So thankful for all of you.
