          No chapters dropping while the sun’s still high,
          My sis and I are busy — here’s the why:
          Our summer’s packed, no time to write or plot,
          And parents have declared our phones shan't be hot.
          
          We’re chasing daylight, not a word count goal,
          Swimming, laughing, filling up our souls.
          The WiFi’s locked, the laptops put away,
          So our story sleeps through summer’s longest days.
          
          But don’t you fret, it isn’t gone for good,
          It’s bookmarked safe, just like we knew it would.
          When autumn calls and school bells start to ring,
          We’ll bring new chapters — and the drama they’ll bring.
          
          Thanks for sticking with us while we’re out,
          We’ll see you soon. That’s what this break’s about. 
          
          Thank you for withstanding that, we can't wait to see you again next school year!
          Although we won't be on Wattpad as much this summer, we'll tryyyy to update.
