Guns aren't scary.
Before y'all go and get defensive, hear me out, please.
Guns don't scare me because they aren't scary. I grew up around guns my whole and I have never had an accident with a gun that was scary. Sure me hearing is a little jacked from shooting free rang on the farm without earmuffs but they don't scare me. What scares me is the people who get a hold of the gun. Hear me out. When my grandpa and my little brother grab a gun, it doesn't scare me. When my sister who never really learned how to shoot like I did grabs a gun, it doesn't scare me, because we taught her safety and how to handle it and when and where it is appropriate to use a gun. And how to safely handle one. So my problem does not lie with guns themselves, it lies with the people who get them and use them in an inappropriate and harmful way. That's my input on this topic. Please give me your opinions as well because I love listening and learning other people's opinions on different topics.

@HuntressOfApollo completely agree. Ppl that wanna kill others don't need a gun, they can kill with anything else. Guns aren't scary. Guns can be very beneficial. Because of guns, my family is protected and I can get food for my family. Plus, shooting guns has taught me important skills like discipline, patience, focus, and responsibility. And I know there will never be a time when I accidentally shoot someone because I know how to be safe. The only time anyone will ever be shot by me is if it is in defense of myself or others
