@MichaelTheHeavy Since the protagonist is a demigod, he is able to channel his divine power into the sword to make it work.
            
            When Kratos used the Blade of Olympus, it held the divine power he possessed as the God of War; although it was inactive when he retrieved it from Hades, it reactivated once he wielded it again because it responded to him and channeled his divine power.
            
            Consequently, when Kratos attempted to take his own life, the sword ceased to function because no god was wielding it to channel divine power into the blade.
            
            Therefore, if the protagonist wields the Blade of Olympus, he will be able to channel his divine power, and the sword will reactivate.

@Iron3_Ghost on the plus side, the Blade of Olympus has become useless since it lost its power from Kratos impaling it to himself and releasing the power of hope. But like Hydra said, it’s a cool idea

@sunnybeiwb seeing how I only just updated, not for a while but after a few chapters i’ll start working on it again… or if I can’t get anything out within a month I’ll work on it again lol but right now I’m working on my other books
