Hello friends and followers! Long time no talk!
I know, I know, it's been a while, hasn't it? It's been what, like two years? Yes, I know, that's a while, and it's also been a while since I've written anything on here or added to my stories. So, I'm here to give an update on what I'm doing and where I'm at.
I'm going to put this into 2 parts because unfortunately Wattpad has a word limit when posting. Personally, I find word limits to be very frustrating, but that's me.
For starters, I first created this account in middle school and have been a user of Wattpad for a couple of years, and well, throughout the years, I was not on Wattpad mainly because I had gotten logged out of it by my parents and had restrictions put on my devices, and so I was off Wattpad for some time. Alongside that, there was also the fact that I was busy with, well, life itself. But well, now here I am, back on Wattpad, again.
Life has been going pretty great so far, though. I completed high school - with mental health struggles throughout - and took a few college courses with the intent to get my English degree because 1) I wanted to go to college, be a successful student, as well as please my parents, 2) because well, I thought I'd need a degree to be a writer even though I technically don't, 3) I wanted to actually learn things outside of the specific private school enviornment I had grown up in, etc. However, I found it to become extremely stressful over time - then again, 7 classes (2 of them being honors) is a lot for one semester, heh - and my relationship with my parents wasn't all that great, and I also didn't have friends. I can say, though, that if I hadn't gone to college for the few months that I did, I wouldn't have met my loving romantic partner, and I am beyond greatful and content to have him in my life. Though my parents, well, they weren't for it, and so, well, I left and am now living with my partner.

Alongside that, as I didn't write any of my stories (fanfictions) for a long time, I am very excited to say that for the last couple of months I have actually been writing my first book! And it's almost complete! Yay! So once it's actually out there, I'll probably go ahead and announce that on here so that all of you can go and purchase my book for yourselves!
Now, this is something that I would actually like to ask and hear people's thoughts on it. It's been a while since I have written fanfiction, but that is actually what I started out writing and what I first published here on Wattpad when I created my account. I have thought about whether or not I should return to writing fanfiction and the story ideas I had come up with a few years ago or if I should well, move on from those? I ask this because I personally don't even know where I would start since all those stories (fanfictions) were just ideas at the time and I never got around to really writing any drafts for them, but at the same time, I wonder how it would be for me to revist those and possibly attempt to write them now in this current time. I would love to hear any thoughts, ideas, and/or opinions on this. I am open to what you all think, let me know!
I don't know exactly how active I'll be on here as I am just now getting back into it, especially with the work I'm doing on my book, but please know I haven't stopped writing nor have I just gone away from Wattpad. I would also like to add that if you would like to send me any of your stories to read feel free to do so, I'm open to having new things to read!
I hope that very soon I can share my book (and future books!) as an author with all of you alongside all of those out in the world who'll get to read it as well! For now though, I'm greatful to have this Wattpad community and those that have followed me over these years. I'm very excited to keep writing and telling stories!
