Hello there, 

My name is Bethany, or Beth for short. Online I'm also known as Hydrokinesis. In case anyone goes 'what the heck does that mean?', I will say this. Think about how pyrokinesis means to manipulate fire, well hydro means water, figure it out yet? Yes, I like water, water is my spiritual element, got a problem with that?

Anyway, I'm an aspiring writer, as a good majority of the rest of you are. Though I did have many stories going on at one point, my external hard drive crashed, making me loose all of my data. Since then I have been working on strictly two, though working mostly on the one. I'm not sure if I will ever post Misguided Melody on here, but I will put School of the Undead up. 

As I keep posting stories, you may find that you are being pulled into the story. That's a good thing, that means that I am doing a good job on my goal. What I like in stories that I read, and especially in ones that I write, I like to pull the reader in, and revealing secrets as the progress along the road of adventure that I have painted and created for them.

The reason why I like to write is because I have always loved telling a good story, coming up with characters, making up fantastical worlds, seeing things through another's eyes. I find it a good way to escape the reality that is known as my life. That is also why I read stories.

I write mostly fantasy or urban fantasy, and this is because I tend to write in the genre that I am interested. And these happen to be them. Exploring the paranormal or even a completely made up world where society is run differently is an amazing experience to me.
