You most likely don't know me but I'm Icee James and as of Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, I began writing the Icee Verse and I plan to publish that bookverse here on Wattpad.
I’m a big fan of the romance book series that can be read as standalones… You have college, sports, celebrity, small town, friend group, siblings, etc. I plan on touching on all of them in some form. But I will not be doing high school romance, I have never figured out how to make those romance stories interesting. I am not one for plagiarism or AI, I will not be using those or condoning them.
I’d like to say that I am a good enough writer, but I know for a fact that I am not a professional, I hope no one expects that when they find themselves on my wattpad account. Please do be honest with me, tell me what you want and what you think does and doesn’t work.
I plan to focus on stories highlighting black love and the black American experiences. I'm passionate about writing books about people of color in a light other than what we normally are written in. So please tell me what you want to see represented. I should have a schedule for any and all books mentioned in the disclaimer chapter or the conversation tab.
Just to make something clear, I’m a black woman. So prejudice language of any kind towards any group of people is automatically a no. I plan on being diverse with my writing, that includes disabilities, disorders, race, ethnicity, religion, culture, sexuality, and gender. Whether they’re main characters or side characters. Every book should have a disclaimer chapter, if you’re not “okay” with any of these, DNF it and go about your day for the sake of us all!
My first book drops Spring 2026, I will keep you updated about titles, tropes, covers, and release dates until then. (I also think I'm going to get a TikTok account for this Wattpad Account!)
