@JustUrLocalPan You shouldn't pander to you friends' interests. If you like MCYT fanfics that include appropriate shipping then that's not something you should give up. I'm sure they'll understand that you have different interests - as you are different people and they probably enjoy things you don't as well - and if they don't and are threatening to leave then that's not a friendship worth keeping in the first place.
