I'm thinking of reading Angel fall, but Divergent is my FAVORITE book! What didn't you like?

Hmm. Okay, well... it's just personal preference I think. I didn't feel attached to Tris and Four. Yes! Four. Everyone seems to love him. But I don't. And Tris, I couldn't feel her emotions. She's like a robot. Hehe.

And the romance didn't convince me. It happened too fast. It might not be insta-love, but in my opinion it was close to that.

Hey, it's just my opinion. Don't kill me :D

Torment. Is it Fallen's sequel by Lauren Kate? Okay, I've read Fallen and wasn't able to finish it because the I couldn't stand the boredom and the shallowness of the characters. That book was a bunch of mess. In my opinion.

I love The Hunger Games! But Divergent didn't work for me. Right now I'm so into dystopian novels. Aside from THG there's only one other book in dystopian genre that managed to hook me. It's called Angelfall. I like it more than THG.

          Good luck with your project!

@SCAR101 I love books that have romance intertwined within the book, but other than that I hate it. I'm reading a book called Torment, not on wattpad, and it's all romance with maybe what the author thought was a little action? I have only read two dystopian series, THG and Divergent, they were amazing but I don know any others to read. (Oh, just remembered, I also read the giver.) I have been reading a lot since I was a little girl and all of my books have had action in them. (Started in first grade's box car children.) I now don't read much, unless I'm not feeling well and can't go out, but I am always reading some sort of science fiction novels. I agree, romance I okay if its not the whole story. How can you even write a whole story with romance as the main plot?
Its fine I love long posts and I think this one will be long too. I take reading and writing seriously if I'm in a classroom, reading on my nook, and writing on my computer. Ha, I have to have all this material crap to finish one project. Unfortunately, I'm on my tablet most of the time so careless mistakes I either skip over or can't correct. My wrist hurts just writing this!

Hi! I don't mind you swearing. I do that a too little often, too. :)
Anyway, I'm glad to find out that we do kinda have the same preference.

I like romance in a book. It adds excitement and thrill. Don't you just love it when two people fall in love? But when it gets a little out of hand, by that I mean the romance is taking up the whole story, (especially when the main category isn't romance) it gets annoying.

I don't want the main character to be too focused on romance. I love reading dystopian and science fiction. Most times those genre push the romance on one side, and focus on the novel's plot.

Anyway, as I'm saying, romance is okay. As long as it's in place. HAHA.

Sorry for the long post. I take reading and writing seriously :)
