@IMTHEREALKACHING
There were moments... painful, aching moments when she would look at him, speaking animatedly with others, laughing that ever-present laugh, and she would wonder if she was just another part of the spectacle.
She never said anything. Never asked for reassurance. Instead, she worked harder to deserve his attention. She stayed by his side as much as possible, eager to follow him wherever he led. When he invited her along on his "outings", (murder) she never hesitated. She wanted to be useful, wanted to be someone he would want to have around, not just someone who happened to be there.
But even then, there were nights when she would lie awake, staring at the ceiling of her room in the Hazbin Hotel, wondering if it was enough.
The hotel had become a refuge for her in ways she hadn’t expected.
Still, no matter how much comfort she found elsewhere, she always returned to Alastor. She always sought his approval, always tried to be the daughter he would be proud of.
She reassured herself that he loved her.
But sometimes, when he was distracted, when he was too caught up in his own world to notice her lingering nearby, she couldn’t help but wonder.
And so, she kept searching... kept turning the dial (Get it? Bc shes a Radio? XD) in her mind, hoping that, one day, she would finally find the right frequency (pun intended :3). The one where she could hear him say it, not just in passing, not just in amusement, but in a way that left no doubt.
"I love you, Ana."
