I go through phases where no name, no pronouns, no sexuality sounds like me and I feel like everything I figured out about myself is wrong and I've made so many mistakes around it

This guy basically tried to "disprove trans people exist" to me, a trans person. His proof was a random anti trans news article, whatever.
My proof was the NHS treatments of gender dysphoria, definitions and characteristics of biological sex, and I pulled the World Health Organisation's definitions of sex and gender as well as the giving him the article which defines it on him.

@IMakeFanFicsAndShiz I've had this shit happen all the time, but I've had much much worse. My fathers a transphobe, and thinks I was "infected by social media". I didn't have media when I was 10 LMFAO, I just knew I didn't feel right. I was 12 when I found the word transgender. I'm almost 19 and just now getting allowed to transition in my state (The US is weird, the state decides the age someone transitions). I also have to be diagnosed with Gender dysphoria in order to transition, but that's justified honestly so that someone doesn't transition on a whim, then detransition and say "I wasn't trans in the first place"
