@INFURNACE  ☆    [  there's a beat of silence between the two of them and he can't tell if the silence is deafening or if his heart is beating too loud in his chest ,  drowning out every sound around him .  his words felt heavy yet ironically like a weight off of his chest .  though he wasn't obligated to tell touya anything he wanted to hear ,  how would either of then move forward in this silent stalemate of theirs ?  the answer was that they wouldn't be able to .  ocean blue and stormy gray eyes finally break from his concentration on the floor to gaze up at his brother in front of him ,  waiting on the ( mental )  edge of his seat .  when I brief  " I understand now "  from the other's lips are uttered ,  he remains neutral .  expression calm and any sign of confusion ,  despite what he felt ,  unnoticeable .   what did touya suddenly understand of him ?  what warranted the plain humor in the man's sudden muse of amusement ?  sometimes he wish he could read minds .  shoto's body pauses at the sudden suggestion that fell off the other's tongue ,  fairly surprised by the suddenness of it all .  despite this ,  he doesn't hesitate pulling the ingredients back closer to himself .  ]  ...  alright .  if you wouldn't mind .
