Heyoo,

          I notice your a fellow writer and someone who might be interested in genderbenders.

          I love the genre! So I am writing a sci-fi action novel that has genderbending powers as an aspect of the MCs.

          With completely original characters. I know, it's just that I loved the fanfiction so much they inspired me to make OCs instead of the usual suspects that we love. (Looking at you Naruto, Hero Acadamia, and even Attack on Titan gender benders) In fact a gender bender story about Bakugou inspired my OC. The story called, Metamorphosis. Ever read that?

          The genderbender aspect is just that. An aspect. But a big slow burning one. In my humble opinion the best gender-bender stories are the ones where the anchor is not forgotten or is pointless as most critics of the genre say.

          What do you think makes a great gender bender?

          *Note it's not a werewolf story*

@MeanMemeWriter Thank you for replying!

            I love sudden gender changes, it always hooks me, I think it's a great staple for telling the genre. It really drives a story forward doesn’t it?

            Anyway, I am so happy you actually replied! Thank you and no worries, I believe all levels of writers are valid. I got inspired by fanfiction after all.

Oh yeah! I love the gender bender related tropes!

            I haven’t read any of the Bakugo Gender Bender stories, I kind of just had the thought and said “Why not!”

            In my personal opinion, what makes a great gender bender depends on the plot.

            So for instant, like my story, I prefer the learning experience Bakugou has to go through and the obstacles he will encounter while being a female—The sudden change of sex is stressful and new. He will need help, but he is obviously stubborn when it comes to depending on someone, so he will finally need to be vulnerable to overcome these issues.

            Speaking on the genre as a whole however, I’m not too sure. (Though I do agree with the slow burn) I’m more of an artist than an author, so I’m not real great at giving the best advice and opinions on writing. ): so I apologize if I’m not giving the correct answer.
