What do you do to get ideas for fanfic writing, and if you write it, how long does it usually take you to begin the book?  
          	
          	I personally listen to music, get ideas, write them in a notebook, struggle with writing the current book(s) i'm in the middle of, and end up with writer's block for 2 months.

@I_am_a_Frog_ Ideas just come from everywhere. A lot from music, some from canon, some from just randomly, some based off of other media I've seen, some off of fanart I do.
          	  And I just let it sit for a while, run through scenes in my head or while I'm listening to music. I write down my ideas in a document containing all my ideas for books, closer to the time I'll plan specific chapters. I write out 1-30 down the page and put chapter ideas where they would go within the 30 chapters. 
          	  
          	  And then I wait until I've finished writing whatever fanfiction I'm on, maybe then another fic idea I've had sooner, and if I've got enough motivation and still think it's a good idea after that point, I ensure I have a full plan of at least chapters 1-10, plus several other moments later on in the book, a book cover, the title of the book, and an opening line before I start writing.

I've just read a few of the posts by some victims, I will say, I'm very surprised.
          
          It's lucky I've not written that many books containing Iskall, I didn't know him well enough to write anything good anyways, but anything with him I will remove. I can always replace him with another character, or just remove the entire section with him.
          
          I didn't realize it was so serious until we got more info, and now I'm going to start fixing my books to make them better.
          
          What Iskall did wasn't okay, I'm taking a moment to acknowledge this.
          
          Luckily, he wasn't a hermit I watched regularly, but for others he was, and I would like to offer support to anyone who needs it.
          This is completely optional, and please remember I am not a professional.
          
          I only have 12 published works, most of which Iskall has never showed up, or he has and I left him to the side.
          Still, I will remove him from each and every one.
