          It's been a good few years, I'm 21 now, believe it or not, a whole adult and one of my regrets may have been never finishing writing that one damn fic. Yes, a sad regret but one none the less. I always hated that folk could never finish their story when I was a reader, wondering "what do you MEAN you can't find the time?" and now that I'm older I turn around and go "OH I get it now, unfortunately"
          
          And so I thought, for the sake of maybe a handful of people who care, I'll tell you what my plan for the series was, seeing as I'm never going to finish it...
          Yup, I still remember some of 13yo me's ideas! Maybe now I'll have room for other information, like my uni work...
          
          So!
          The story would follow Lian and Rythian throughout the gap between Naruto and Shippuden, meeting strange and wacky people, and occasionally bumping into some actual characters
          While in the underground world, Lian and the girl whose name I cannot remember would go to an 'alternative universe' AKA the real world, which is where they got all the souvenirs from
          Meanwhile, the gang from home would be working on ways to exonerate Lian and Rythian, trying to find proof that the ANBU were bad etc...
          Lian and Rythian would eventually come back to the Leaf Village, believing they were now able to do so and then boom, kick off with Shippuden
          I don't really remember much else, but I think one idea was that Lian had a kid and died and then the series followed that kid and just saying but this was waaay before Boruto was a thing so like?? Not saying I predicted that shit but Kishimoto you wanna paypal me or??
          
          Either way, it was gonna be a laugh, and we woulda had a lot of fun with it
          Shame I had to go and grow up, huh?
          
          Really regret trying to edit it all too, wasn't the same. I promise I did plan on finishing Lian's story, and I'm sad that I'm never going to but I'm glad I've finalised it now. No more edits. No more updates. That's it
          
          Anyway, I'm running out of room

asdfghjkl legit looking through some of these chapters quickly makes me realise how old this fic is like??? It dedicates chapters to the Harlem Shake? Flappy Bird? If I could actually upload chapters on time we would have a whole timeline of memes and internet trends throughout the years.

You know what the wildest thing is? Despite my procrastinating ass doing everything except writing and avoid Wattpad like the plague, every time I come back there is support from all these new folk. Like, hey there, how did you find me? Thanks for voting and all that good stuff!
          Seriously, that's the stuff keeping these fics going at this point. Not me, you.
          My exams are going to be coming to a close and it'll have been literally about 6 months since I last wrote anything so... I'd ask you to be patient with me, but you're probably used to me taking my time by now.
          I'm never normally this serious and genuine, damn.
          Hopefully see y'all soon! Hopefully.
