A. Prussia is germanys dad and Austria is just his uncle but was so much of a father figure he also got a dad title
B. They don’t actually know who Germanys dad is. It’s either Prussia or Austria but due to some Mama Mia type shenanigans no one actually knows. They ended up with telling everyone it was Gilbert in social situations, but like bro, Ludwig just straight up had two dads cause no one actually k n o w s
looking back at HWS Germania and my Scandinavia oc and watching their relationship go from
1. A purely Husband and Wife relationship
2. Best friends to Lovers
3. Best friends to enemies to lovers
4. Best friends to lovers to enemies
5. Just straight up enemies
6. Just best friends
and finally
7. Platonic soulmates who probably had a lil bit of feelings at one point but nothing that lasted, they got married for convenience sake and kids just happened, they divorced eventually but would always be best friends.
