          I just want to share a small win for this week.
          
          I’ve finally cleared my drafts, and Nice’s Colors has reached 50 chapters.
          
          Honestly, I’m still amazed and a little surprised that I managed to write that much, since the story literally started as a random what if and a daydream.
          
          Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read, comment, and vote. They really mean a lot to me.
          
          The feedback I’ve received has been especially touching. I wish I could share them here, but announcements don’t allow photos.

          I repeat… 50. THOUSAND. WORDS.
          
          And in the middle of it all,
          6 drafts edited and published in just 2 days.

          I am not a patient person at all, so “soon” became not soon, but now.
          
          As in N-O-W, now.
          
          I said I’d reveal the book cover soon, but honestly, I couldn’t wait anymore. I’ve been thinking about it way too much and yeah…
          
          I’m done pretending I can keep it to myself.
          
          As the artist said,
          
          sometimes a design isn’t meant for the first story it was created for, but it may be perfect for another one.
          
          And somehow, that design found its way here.
          
          Janice knows exactly which story she belongs to, and clearly...
          
          she made sure she ended up in Nice’s Colors.
          
          Let’s give Janice some love for finding her way to us.

          Quick little update on the book cover.
          
          Funny enough, just like how Nice’s Colors started (different lead, fifteen drafts sacrificed to the writing gods), the cover went through the same chaos.
          
          I had two solid ideas at first. Thought I knew exactly what I wanted.
          
          …turns out, I did not.
          
          Somewhere between all the revisions, I ended up falling in love with one of the artist’s premade covers instead.
          
          And when I say fell in love, I mean I could not stop staring at it. I actually lost sleep over it just thinking,
That’s Janice.
No… THAT is Janice.
          
          The artist was super kind and worked with me to tweak parts of it so it fits the story perfectly.
          
          So in the end, just like the book itself, we let go of the original ideas… and found something that was already waiting for us.
          
          I’ll be changing the cover soon.
          Way sooner than I thought.
          
          Which is good… right?

          I have something I’m SUPER excited about…
          
          I finally found an artist for my book cover.
          I can’t even describe how it feels knowing my story is starting to come to life visually. I’m so excited for you all to see it when it’s ready.
          
          It might take some time, but that just means I get to be excited about it for even longer. Maybe I will even manage to edit and publish all 16 drafts I have for Nice’s Colors. 
          
          No promises though... 
          
          I believe in “happy writer, happy story” first.
