Fanfic writers on here, very generally, often times like to put "gay or yaoi warning"
Thinking about it, a'int that a bit odd. Like i understand saying something like "includes gay pairings, don't like don't read" cuz thats asking for people not to read if all they intend to do is write homophobic and hateful comments. But saying "gay warning" implies that this is some sort of taboo or wrong thing that you should be cautious about, or that its's somehow 'triggering' BUT IT'S NOT!
Gay people aren't something that should be warned about! And look I understand that most writers who say that in their descriptions don't mean it in a harmful way, its more just a misunderstanding of what that wording may imply. Really this just came to mind and i wanted to express how much that just kinda baffled me for a moment.
