the hunched figure watches her from the tree branch , allowing themselves to hang upside down as black eyes tracked her every movement . they scrambled up here the moment they heard her wailing .. or was it moaning . whatever it was unlocked an inner fear inside the part of her that was still human to hide it out . now , that fear was gone as she watched the nurse approach the tree she was currently hanging onto .

@deadchases / there was silence as the nurse shook her head slowly. "You...are no bother. it is nice...talking to someone, that is." not something the usual killer who was intent on absolute bloodshed would utter - but sally was different. frail, small and cooped up in her head. "you...should probably be careful..around myers.." her tone had shifted - more stern. this was most definitely a warning. she had been involved in an unfortunate incident with him when he was only new and wasn't aware of the rules of the realm - he had gone after her with his knife, catching her and was seconds away from causing harm before some of the other killers intervened. it had all been due to his disliking for doctors and nurses and sally had ended up getting lashed out at. "..just..keep that in mind..."

the younger of the two went quiet , eyeing the ground . she was in a deep thought about the rest of them in this .. realm , place , whatever it was . to hear that only some retained whatever humanity they can hold onto was slightly frightening but it was quickly replaced with a wave of understanding . what she had witnessed so far was horrendous and it made sense for the others to hold on to the last bit of their past lives , an escape from the daily torment they also faced . she looked up at sally , curious eyes squinting at the nurse . “ ah , i see . i’m sorry to bother you with all these questions . i haven’t spoken to anybody .. in the amount of time i’ve been here . “ liyah whispered to her , remembering the first time she tried to talk to a survivor in her actual form . desperate for any type of interaction but the only thing she got was screams of terror and pallets being dropped on her . . ˚ ◞ ♡ ⃗ @lastbreaths*ೃ ༄

@deadchases / "many of us...were human im..sure.." the nurse's hidden gaze moved away from the new stranger, thoughtful again. "..but... I'm sure there..are some that have.. kept some of their...humanity." her attention fell on liyah again and her head gave another tilt. the entity tended to raise a killers bloodthirst in order for them to appease it, but the few like the nurse who were never actual killers to begin with, still found themselves to be rather human. poor sally had found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and life had not treated her well so the entity took her...and now she was here. as this...thing. made to murder more innocent people.

the masked teen stumbles through the wooded area, head aching from the pallet that had been dropped on his head by one of those annoying survivors. susie had inspected his head briefly before sending him back out — yelling at him to go look for the nurse. frank grumbled to himself, silently berating himself for not asking what the nurse looked like considering he never heard of her. “hello?” he calls out to nobody in particular. in a place that was unfamiliar to him. “i heard you can help — help me with something.”

frank reeled back slightly before forcing himself to stay still so she can finish up her patch job. "no, you're fine. " he says. ignoring the pain that starts up again. choosing to bite his lip instead to get it done and over with. "thanks for helping sally. appreciate it a lot. " the teenager states quietly, the thanks leaving a funny taste in his mouth. not really used to saying it, especially to other people. the moment she's done, his hand wanders to his bandage on his head. giving a faint smile as he relaxes just a bit, hoping that maybe he'll get some pity from the thing. at least a day or two to recover but if he gets thrown right back into it immediately, he's gonna bitch and moan like his life depends on it. ".. feeling better already. "

@entitycalls that was true, the thing wouldn't be overly pleased if any of the killers decided to go against it's wishes, but she didn't say much more on the matter, remaining silent until she was finally given a name. she hadn't really expected an introduction at all, but they never harmed anyone. it was nice to know who she was helping. "well..." she pulled the damp cloth away, placing it in the bowl as she unravelled some bandage. "i..am sally...but enough about names..this isn't too tight is it?" she had begun to wrap the bandage as best she could, careful hands minding the other. having bandage wrapped around the head was never an exciting or flattering look, but she assumed frank wouldn't enjoy an infection so he would have to go along with it.

he winces at her touch, biting back a snarky response. it wouldn't help either of them if he decided to be an asshole. "i'm not gonna argue about getting rest but the thing will be pissed off.. " he mumbles to himself, keeping himself distracted by fiddling with his fingers as she patched him up. saying a silent thanks to her. it wasn't until now that he thought it was a good idea to introduce himself considering she's going out of her way to help him. "i'm uh frank -- yeah, thats my name.." he states, now overthinking if frank is indeed his name or he's just messing around with himself.
