All right so the people on hotline duty in Norway suck, no surprise there
I messaged them about my thougths of self harm and howI'm scared to tell my mum, and guess how they replied. Fucking guess.
"Well I don't know your mom, but most moms want the best for their kids"
Like yeah, duh, I know it's irrational, but you could atleast try not to be condescending. It's not that fun to online expecting advice and only getting "Your mom wants what's best for you so just tell her" because now I feel like a coward for not telling her

@ WeStanHatsuToga it's okay to be scared, especially about such a sensitive topic. It's really natural to feel that way. You're not alone in this, and if you're scared to tell your mother, you do not have to do so, not now. I know that getting help is important, but you know that too, so make sure you feel as safe as possible during that, because that's one of the most important things. Just, know that it's not stupid to be scared to tell her.
