Me: *7 years old visiting India*
Me: *still haven't been able to meet my friends since our schedules collided*
Me and my mom: *walking at night back to the compound, hearing children playing*
Me: *sees a girl with a black dog which looks suspiciously like my friends dog*
Me: *squints*
Me: (my friends name)?
My friend: (my name)?
1 second pause
Both of us: *running towards each other at the same time, screaming each others name with excitement*
I'm not sure my friend remembers this, but it was the happiest day of my year.
Y'all I was just checking my phone and my boy best friend dared him to kiss me on the forehead (spoiler he did)
