Just read this and damn! What a great read this has been. I'm so glad to have found this book and so, so, SO glad to not just keep it in my tbr and forget later because- OH, MY GOD! I'm profoundly impressed by every single thing this book has to offer.
Coming to the main characters, I've so much to say but I'm not sure where to start. Alessia might just be one of my most favourite fmcs now. The way she didn't compromise with her self respect and never shied away from calling her husband out for even a second had been so satisfactory. I love LOVE her so much. Now what do I say about Cassian because goodness gracious! the way he never hesitated even for a second to own his intentional and unintentional mistakes, realised that he had to work on himself- not just for the woman he loves but for himself, for the kid who deserved the love he never got, acknowledge his feelings for the people in his life, voicing out his feelings because only actions are just not it. The growth this man had throughout the book has been so fulfilling and I'm so, SO proud of him.
I love LOVE Alessia and Cassian so much and I still have so much to say but I don't wanna give any spoilers if someone comes across this message.

@_rivaah I don’t even know how to respond to this properly without sounding repetitive, but I really want you to know I read every word of this slowly. It’s one thing for someone to enjoy a book but the way you engaged with it, the way you paid attention to the details, the intent behind the writing, the emotional shifts… that’s not something I take lightly at all. As a writer, you spend so much time in your own head wondering if what you’re trying to do is even landing the way you hope it will. And then a message like this shows up and it’s like, okay, it reached someone. Yayyyy! Thank you for not just reading it, but experiencing it and then taking the time to tell me. That kind of response stays with me for a long time. ❤️❤️
What do I say? I have no words. I mean, that's so perfect. I love Alessia (I hate being straight *crying*). She is exactly the kind of FMC I've sought out. And him—well, sympathy for him—but Cassian? I'm forever going to hate him for hurting my wife initially. He was better off with Liam, but no, Liam needs some stable people in his life (even if he sometimes isn't).
And Naija, are you kidding me? Just one book and six favorite characters? Did you write them just to give me a hard time choosing whom to simp over? This was the second story I read from the top 10, and it's going to be my forever favorite. And I agree: if life gives you lemons, beat men.
I opened Wattpad after almost 2 months and the first story I read was "The Forgotten Wife" and OMG....... I'm in love with it.. loved Alessia and her intelligence the way she just was and how Cassian had his own personal growth,, just loved the plot...

@MissusRichard Keep those fingers crossed. You never know what my brain decides to obsess over at 2 AM. A good narrator can make or break the whole experience. When I eventually get there, I'll make sure to find someone who does the story justice.❤️

@MissusRichard Right now I don't have any plans for writing about other characters from The Forgotten Wife. But I also don't trust myself. So who knows. Never say never. Also, I feel you on the bad eyesight. Mine is terrible too. I basically navigate life by squinting and hope. So an audiobook might actually happen sooner rather than later just so I can listen to my own work without straining my eyes.
Can I just take a moment to appreciate your work! I am obsessed with The Forgotten Wife!! It has been on my mind since I first read it. I blame the way I am to you author. It feels like I have been overdosed by your art. One of the best Wattpadd stories I have ever read. Truly.
Definitely it is one of my top books I would always hold inside my heart forever. I really admired Cassian’s character a lot, the way he was portrayed was beyond words. Your writings are truly a masterpiece, Author! I would love to own at least one of your hard copy book one day.
