Hey everybody! It may seem as if I'm not very active here, but I promise I'm working on a short book. I will finish it before I continue working on The Hidden Danger. To prove I'm making progress, I'll let you have a sneak peak of the prologue! Keep in mind it may not be the final version.

That was when he realized what he had to do: unleash his power.
Bright flashes lit up the stable briefly, and the light reflected in the horses' eyes. Ears pricked towards the stallion, everyone was alert. They watched as he pushed against the stall door, his muscles tense, itching with the desire to fight for survival. Finally it snapped open, and hung loosely, allowing the horse to trot out of his stall. He flicked his black tail in triumph. Now he just needed to free the others.
Footsteps approached the stable door before anyone could do anything. Panic gripped the stallion's heart, and he reared up in an instinctive attempt to drive away a threat. He let the power that flowed through his body settle, and gained control of the situation.
A man flung open the stable doors and shined a strong flashlight into the darkness. He shouted, "Who's there?" before realizing it was no human that had broken in, it was a horse that had broken out.
