            The two groups had separated to get into the pantry from another side to make sure they weren’t caught. However, we don’t know exactly why the sirens started.
            I wish I could say one way or the other, but the main idea was that situations can be nearly impossible to change- we can only change how we respond to them. 
            Thank you! There’s a lot that I didn’t disclose, but that’s mostly because it’s all through Ben’s perspective, and he was still learning about the world.

@ LauraWreath  thank you for your book! I enjoyed reading it. I liked the originality in the characters and how the story shows there is little difference between the "good guys" and the "bad guys". I do have a lot of questions, like, what happened with Cleo with the white clothed people underground? Or, will theor situation ever improve? But on the other hand I like how you read some things up to the readers imagination!

            Anyways. I like Janeway. In my opinion she and picard are the best starfleet captains of the star trek series!
