If could tell you everything I wanted the world to know about me it would take more than 2000 words on a small computer screen. But let me first say my name is Iglected, no its not my real name but I choose  this name because I like the way the word neglected sounded and yet I wanted to inspire. So I took the I from inspired removed the ne from neglected and got Iglected. 

This first work is close to me because it is a personal reflection of sorts. Of course somethings are different and there is really no way for me to put it other than I just really enjoy doing this. I love basketball, video games, music, and pretty much anything else.  I hope you come and learn to enjoy my book and the stories I produce. 

I am all about helping promote a stronger black community and creating an environment of not only black empowerment, but hopefully change the rhetoric of black masculinity. What it means to be man and how a man is supposed to be a leader of his household. I want to help create a healthier image of what a black man is supposed to be. That a brother who does corporate work and wears a suit and tie everyday isn't a sellout and will defend you just like homie on the corner selling dope when people get out of line.

I want to help make the image of a black genius commonplace and not something that is a myth. I want to promote that intelligence doesn't mean weakness.  

Now ladies don't worry, my women characters are always strong and independent, but everyone needs love and I want to kill this stereotype that the black woman has to be alone to be strong and independent. All humans desire love, that is what we are crafted from.  So sit back and relax and join me in this journey into empowerment. Thank you for your time.
