          also for the record, please make sure to keep backups of your fics since the presence of bots means wattpad is at risk for AI data scraping/Fed into generative AI for other people to use.
          
          As a note, I frown upon generative AI. AI cannot make art and is not a replacement for creativity or skill. If you are using AI to make your fics, put it down and write from the heart. You are not an artist, you are a thief leeching off of the damage AI has already caused.
          
          IF the site DOES get scraped, there’s quite literally nothing to be done, but if the bot problem doesn’t get resolved or worsens, it’ll already be saved and ready to move to a safer site or something. 
          
          I haven’t heard of many safer sites (AO3 is considered safe but it’s had its fair share of famous scrapings) but yknow maybe someone will make like a MASSIVE shared google drive for fics one day and by only sharing it with the community through discord or something it’ll be too reclusive for a bot to get into idk
          
          (That’s not a recommendation, if given to just ONE wrong person it can lead to an unsafe environment, especially with small communities, so maybe keep it between a small circle of friends and maybe research some safer alternatives, this is all off the top of my head rn)

Hey uhh this probably won’t reach a lot of yall but I’ve gotten like 4 of the same scam comments in the past month, all talking about wanting money for a comic and all from either blank or completely random accounts (which are very obvious signs of bots) (Even if you don’t bother organizing your lists, just leave like a smily in your account desc. idk)
          
          When I checked to see if they’re bots, I noticed that some people are following them back. I understand that this is a child-dominated site, so not many of you have been on the receiving end of a scammer before. This is just a PSA not to fall for it! They will not follow through and just take your money.
          
          And for the record, I AM an artist. If I wanted a comic of my fanfics I’d do it myself. (Only issue is time, but that’s for another day)

God I haven’t felt good writing in so long 
          
          Just finished chapter 29 of my genderbend fic and I started chapter 30, I’m planning on posting them together once I finish 30 (not this week, maybe this weekend if this keeps up) so hopefully you all are looking forward to that
          
          The schedule I had isn’t coming back though and I’m probably gonna switch to posting when they’re done again
          
          I’ll go more into why I was gone in that A/N (but hint, I started medschool so yea  )

Just making it official, I’m doing three chapters next month instead of two just because I’ve been zooming on ahead the last published chapter (I finished 25 like a week ago) and want y’all to catch up a little while still giving me a little breathing room.
          
          I also ended up planning ahead a few (*cough* 15 *cough*) chapters, so this ain’t ending anytime soon. Kinda unfortunate considering I have other fic ideas I want to work on but since I’ve been making these pretty quickly, I’ll be done writing by this time next year. Maybe. Anyways see you guys tomorrow

Btw if you’ve been keeping up the genderbend rewrite, I added a couple paragraphs to chapter 9 since I wasn’t satisfied with it. I forgot about a plot point so I wrapped it up, maybe reread it once you get the chance
