Look. I get it. People like the childhood friend trope. And Bakugo has had real growth over the course of the series, and is starting be nicer to Midoriya. But it would undoubtedly be a toxic relationship. They have so much baggage that it can't just be water under the bridge. And I know some people like that they have so much history together, but it isn't good history. It's a history of bullying and harassment and if you put two people who have that kind of tension between them together, it will not end well. It would blow up in their face- literally, knowing Bakugo.
I don't hate Bakudeku, but at the same time, just look at it. Literally, look at the ship name. Notice anything? D E K U. Deku was a name that Midoriya resented for so long because it was literally a way for Bakugo to call him USELESS. And before you bring up Tododeku, that's different because the Deku Todoroki knows is the boy who uses Deku as a hero name, not as a mean remark.
I think Bakugo and Midoriya could have a friendly rivalry one day. They do push each other to be better because of the tension between them, but that's the only positive part of their relationship I can really see. I don't think they could ever really be friends, let alone romantic partners.
And you- and I know you're reading this, you know who you are- stop harassing me over not liking your OTP. I have never, not once, done anything against you other then ship a ship that isn't yours. I don't hate bkdk stans just because I don't like Bakudeku. And if you want to ship them, that's fine, just don't rub it in my face.
