I read your message on Eliah Greenwood's profile. I know it really wasn't my business, but I have some tips. But first, congrats at being the tip of your class! That's amazing! My friend is on top of our class. Anyway, try coming up with the plot before and work on it slowly. Don't try to rush it before you are ready to let it go, or you're not interested anymore. I'm 1 year older, and I think I might have some words that may help. When you aren't interested in it anymore go back and read it. There must be something in there you don't like and your brain quit trying to write without letting you know something was wrong. It took my step sister to read my book out loud for me to figure it out. It was being rushed so I unpublished ALL of the chapters and I didn't agree with the topic so I changed it. I made it about the son, not the best friend. Now it is flowing and I look forward to writing it. It may sound like I don't care about my book, but it works. I have a doc and write on that instead of wattpad because it doesn't like me . It is like it doesn't like when I write and I always have to take like 10 minutes to argue with it to let my writing stay. Anyway, it will smooth it out and take time off and get back to it every now and then if you feel like it. Don't write it for readers (okay I sound like a terrible person but trust me I'm not) write for yourself. Write what you feel is write, and can I let you in on a secret? Well, if you write on your own time and you don't rush it and write with emotion, (sometimes I make myself mad to write about my character being mad . I need a life ) the readers can tell and you'll get more.
Im done giving my secrets away now,
