Heyy I've been literally soo busy with life for the last 1 month so I only listened to Gameboy (it slaps) but I'm sure the whole Beautiful Chaos EP is banging we're in this Katseye sh#t for life (if you don't vibe with Gnarly that's okay just know you're gnarly we're not)
The new Illit comeback tho (Do the dance).... I saw a short with DTD as the bg music and I was intrigued so I searched for the whole song and I have to say Illit knows their stuff.. I was already hooked on their debut EP but they kinda lost me with Cherish now I'm back on track with DTD it seems
And the MV!!! I'm literally obsessed with the whole concept, the only thing I dislike is the outfits like let's bring back the doll aesthetic from Magnetic era

@Its_H4zel_ aaah I forgot to rank Beautiful Chaos thank u for reminding me!! In general I enjoyed this album, I would say BC is on pair with SIS (both EP is equally good) but that's my opinion, I've seen ppl say they like BC way better So the ranking would be: 1) Gameboy (SLAY the house down) 2) Mean girls (the chorus is a tad bit repetitive but the verses omg omg) 3) Gabriela (I'm so sorry but it's leaning into snoozefest for me) 4) M.I.A. (ikr it's a fan favourite but not really my cup of tea) If Gnarly was on this EP it would be no.2 I unironically love this song idgaf

I took a break from wp for some time but I am back now so here are some of my thoughts abt the releases that happened while I was away:
1) Yeji's debut was PERFECT and it was everything we needed and anybody who doesn't like it is a hater and just doesn't see the vision
2) Rosie was veryyyy nice and very much what I expected after hearing the pre-releases. The blatant Taylor Swift sound takes away a bit from it's authenticity but I believe this will improve since it's just a debut! (song ranking in the comments)
3) Ruby was... okay? I really don't find it as artistic as ppl claim it to be which is unfortunate bc Solo was my fav bp solo for a looong time. Diversity in a debut album is never a good thing in my opinion bc it doesn't show the artist's full potential rather just tiny glimpses of different skills so if I wasn't a kpop fan and didn't know Jennie from her bp work Ruby 100% wouldn't convience me that she is the superstar overflowing with talent that everyone claims her to be. Exception is Zen cuz that song has more artistic value than everything that Jennie has put out combined. It's kind of like an ars poetica and I'm obsessed with it. Like Jennie is good too tbh but nothing extraordinary.
3) amortage is cute, 2,5 songs out of the 4 are great but it's very obvious to me that Jisoo isn't fully committed to her idol carrier. The songs has just the amount of her touch that is needed in order to being able to be sold under her name
(I don't care abt Alter ego since I haven't liked any of the songs Lisa had put out so far and my interest in her is close to 0)
4) Xdinary Heroes are climbing up my bias list VERY QUICKLY. I liked them since debut but ohhh every song they put out is a masterpiece (except for almost like the whole Overload album.. we don't talk abt her)

@Im_Foxxy oh I respect ur opinion tooo and ur ranking is very good But for me I think the Ruby album was beyond my expectations like no skip album with my favs twin handlebars and like jennie and mantra toooo Jennie became my bias after that After it's a tie between Rosie and Amortage I love how emotional Rosie album is I really like gameboy drinks or coffee and 3am and my fav Number one girl For amortage I loved earthquake and Your love it's a refreshing xoncept queen jisoo never disappoint And last Alter ego i didn't expect too much and didn't listen to much I like only New women Rockstar and FUTW

Born to be album final version is finally out!! I've been waiting for this literally since the OT4 release......... and I can't say I'm happy with it..
Mr. Vampire, Escalator: underwhelming (can't believe this was the og Mr. Vampire, and the going up part in Escalator was soooo good with Yuna's voice why did they have to change it..)
Born to be: ATE I was so afraid bc this song is heavily dance-rap based and I wasn't sure how Lia would fit to that but SHE ATE
Untouchable: straight up a$$ it's literally the title track what's going on
(I didn't listen to Dynamite yet bc I couldn't care less abt that song but I will listen to it sometime for sure!)
