Myth

Hello my lovely fellow readers~
          
          As I'm sure some of you are aware, I actually started making my own fanfics just a month or two ago.
          
          I still am, in fact I've been making them almost everyday. And I'm absolutely loving it. Problem is, I'm loving it way too much that I've now got 20+ projects on the go.
          
          ....yeah I know, not great management on my part, but I've been constantly tiptoeing between the line of being okay and outright burnout (joys of being disabled). 
          
          This writing was just waiting to be started for many, many years, and now that I have + finally not being burnout, I'm really going for it (within reason as much as my hyperfixation can allow lol).
          
          Some of my works are quite heavy in original details, others I've tried to tone down so I can actually release some fics sooner, but unfortunately for you lovelies, I'm the type that's not keen on releasing until I've practically finished the project.
          
          But, good news! I do have about...3(?) that are almost finished - because I purposely tried to make them short (with some time skips here and there) - so when I do get back to them, they should be good to go yay!
          
          Alrighty, I think that's everything. Hope you all are okay and safe, stay hydrated, and remember -

          Started first with a HTTYD fic, then Arcane...and then Star Wars Rogue One cuz I thought this:
          "It's a movie which means shorter thus easier for a beginner. Plus it's technically a one off story, especially if I go the way I plan".

          I underestimated my love for detailed stories and somehow forgot that I'm a massive fan of Star Wars.
          
          THERE'S SO MUCH AND I HAVEN'T EVEN REACHED THE CANON PLOT *groans & noises of mixed feelings*
          
          And to make things worse, I legit started a Narnia fic less than an hour ago. 
          *aggressive sigh*
          
          I blame the combo of adhd and autism, and that this is an adult who's never really got the chance to properly write for most of their life, so maybe I'm just compensating.
          
          Good news, I'm still working on the others, I'm just taking advantage of the hyperfixation to boost my start.
          

I have started the foundations for HTTYD and then less than 24 hrs later, I was hit with inspiration to write an Arcane fic. 
          
          Arcane is surprisingly easier to do, i think part of it is because it's a much, much shorter show.
          ..... I've already worked on it for 20+ hrs....I have half a million scenes but the timeline is a freaking mess.
          And ooooh boy. damn. I don't think you guys are prepared for what I'm creating.
          
          But also, i feel nervous in my ability to sort and place some of these scenes. I'm currently doing pre-Arcane canon and Season 1. Bruh, I haven't touched Act 2 and there's already so much 
          
          I'm  making an OC from a different culture, who's come to Zaun for a new pathway. So I'm putting the roots in before the canon to smooth things out later. Also trying to write out certain scenes between OC & Victor, which later include Jayce. 
          
          I shall say no more ;)

          I've never done any fanfiction before and the last time I'd written an original story was many, maaanny years ago. So I don't recommend having high expectations lol

          Bro wtf is wrong with this place?
          Australia wasn't satisfied with giving us the most dangerous animals on the planet (especially MY STATE), so it just figured to add semi-regular disasters as well?
          
          Apologies about the rant, clearly I needed it. 
          Honestly, I'm just praying that my family and I will be safe and that our house will be okay.

It's interesting when I see author notes where they apologise for how long it's been since the last update.
          
          Like, I'm all good cuz I'm still reading manga that's been very slowly updating since I was 12 (almost 10 years since), so I think it's safe to say I'm patient lol.
          
          Most of all, I'm just grateful that there's even an update and it doesn't get discontinued.

I gotta say, my workshop is practically the definition of "fake it till you make it".
          
          We honestly don't know what we're doing. It's 80% of us winging it & 20% of Lady Luck favouring us.
          
          At least the newbie knows what they're doing
