Hey,
          I just read your FanFiction "From the Ashes" about Bard the Bowman and I just love it!
          You have just such a great way telling a story with enough details, humor, deep feelings, action and an always fitting atmosphere! I enjoyed every single page of your book. :)
          
          Also, I know that you don't want your stories be translated by others 'cause you experienced peolpe puplishing them as their own.
          So I don't want you to offer but only to know, that I'd love to put your FanFic into german language so it may reach even more people than it does right now.
          Though I respect your decicion and won't annoy you any longer. ^^

@ Inconvenient_Ideal  *Lifts her own coffee cup* yeah, it drives me nuts when i find someone uploading a story and you have waited long and then, bam! Its chapter 5, the main characters are already fooling away or the antagonist is revealed and each chapter is short (2000) and the story is like less than 30 chapters, what do you mean you can resolve everything in less than 30 chapters!?? *rips hair* meanwhile me over here slaving to reach 7000 words for a single character focused chapter that adds more context before i can further develop/move up the plot. 

@ghoulglow everyone has a guilty pleasure, that’s not the issue at all! I love a guilty pleasure read that can be complete nonsense but I love it anyway. It’s just style over substance is something I’m sensing. Which is not what I’m into at all. I love a slow burn! Builds suspense and character! Ahah my toast is too crunchy had me choking on my coffee, but too true! I would much rather a lengthy chapter because tbh whenever I have written anything, the chapters are looooong. You can’t get much from a chapter of barely 1000 words….not without rushing which we’ve already established is done a lot.

@ Inconvenient_Ideal  Yes, i think the term i was looking for was that "i am not the target audience" for the content here anymore in terms of reading, not saying anyone our ages cant read books about k-pop or silly fun things like teen cringe romance show fanfics ect, because we all like those, but, it those nowadays dont give off the same desire to be read, mainly because of the writting styles and quality, not that there arent good writters here old or new, there are, but some are more focused on the aesthetics of their stories than the content, the prose, the narrative elements ect. They also dont do slowburns like they used to both for romances and the story plots in general, everything is rushed, the drama, the sex (which seems to be obligatory for any story now because without it, people feel like the romance is either lacking, boring or prudish) and it also has to do mayorly with their attention spans, people seem to die at the thought of reading a well crafted chapter with 4000 to 5000 words. Like, you wanted a story sis... then you complain? Oh no! My toast is too crunchy, my book too good. (Not my sarcasm)

@ghoulglow You’re welcome! Yuuup. It used to be painful waiting for updates. Don’t have that at all anymore. Any things I see as popular I’m like ‘erm, how?’ Not to be mean. It’s also just repetitive stuff. But you’re totally right there! Yeah I do understand what you mean. I can’t remember the last time I had that with a story on here tbh and that says maybe a lot about me and a lot about what’s circulating on here now. It just isn’t me or for me which makes me feel even more done. 

@ Inconvenient_Ideal  <3 Thanks! and yeah, remember when wattpad had fresh stories? where people where engaging and everything felt new? Plots where wild, waiting for updates was like waiting for a new episode for shows like the walking dead that had everyone talking about them lol! Now every book here is a social media thing or a short book for music artists like k-pop ect, it feels stale and boring. People keep recycling copy paste plots from their favorite show and fandoms and every line is the same but just adding their OFC and even their addtions to the stories change..nothing. its just, like, where did the old writers go? i remember readingna one direction book years ago like in 2012/13 called remember december, (it was a sequel) i never read the first (the writter said it wasnt strictly necessary) and it was some drama about gangs and military ptsd with abuse and may other elements that made it feel real and raw (even the one direction aspect didnt overshadow or took over the plot) the main MC harry styles wasnt a singer or anything, he was just a faceclaim, but let me tell you, i have never come across another story that has left me wishing to read it again for the past decade (the writter erased her books and account years ago sadly) so. But man, i wish for a day of just that same feeling of awe again. 

- After 14 long years I think I might be bowing out, my dudes. I’ve been on this site for so long and honestly it’s been fun, but writing isn’t as fun as it was. It’s sorta soul destroying in a completely selfish, whining way to work hard on stuff that just doesn’t inspire. I’ll probably still lurk about, but honestly, for the most part I think I’m giving up bothering to write or upload anymore… -

          I’ve been reading your books on AO3, especially the Human After All series, and it’s honestly one of my favorite David8 x OC fanfics. The way you write him?? I’m obsessed. And then I found out you have more stories with David, plus ones with Erik Lensherr, Clark kent, AND Scarecrow??? I was literally in awe.
          
          I’m about to binge-read everything tonight and I’m so excited ahhh I love this feeling. Thank you for creating such amazing stories
