Question for you all. So my first book on wattpad I made pretty much every mistake in the book. It was a good story but I launched to zero followers and was pretty irregular posting. I was just trying to find my footing and have fun navigating wattpad. Needless to say that book didn’t get too much traction which makes sense. Now that I have found a few followers and gotten my footing I’ve decided to write a new book and really have a go at it. Some things I’m changing this time around is first of all designing a really good cover, spending a lot of time on my blurb, and writing and scheduling way in advance. So far I’ve written the first 13 chapters and about 40k words all of which I have painstakingly rewritten and edited. This way I have a ton of buffer and can maintain a consistent posting schedule. Plus I’m doing a big five chapter launch with updates twice a week. 
          
          So now that I have that figured out I’ve been trying to come up with creative marketing ideas. One thing I’m trying out is those Promote Your Story books where you share a bit about your book and blurb and link and stuff in the comments. 
          
          My question is do you think those actually work? Wattpad elders what marketing techniques would you put your most energy into? 
          
          If anyone wants I would love it if someone could check out my cover and blurb and give me tips on if it’s working or not. I would really appreciate it!

Somebody needs to study the middle school/ early high school Gilmore girls phase pipeline to high school/ early college supernaturals phase pipeline because it's getting crazy. Everyone I know who used to be completely obsessed with Gilmore girls myself included is now die hard supernatural fans. I feel like it has something to do with Dean / Sam Winchester

Okay I just got back from an all day babysitting gig and I’m wiped 🤦‍♀️ there good kids and sweet but like there three toddlers and im in charge of making sure they don't electrocute themselves or some shit. Anyway I’m finally sitting down. Here are the options folks. Should I watch, Strange Magic, while you were sleeping, pride and prejudice and zombies or binge watch Gilmore girls again for the thousandth time. They are literally all elite choices.

Rereading the Love hypothesis for like the  6th time. It's in if my absolute favorite romance books. I haven't seen it yet but im pumped for the new movie! Hope it's good adaptations can be iffy 😬

Guys I went to my driving lesson (my third time taking lesson because I keep failing and am actually a menace to society) and was so bad at it that this old mean white guy started following me and when i parked he started honking at me and rolled down his window to scream at me. Then when i ignored him and ran away telling him to leave me alone he started to video ME. The instructor literally did nothing 😣

today I was walking through the counselors office to get a new ID card and I stopped when I saw there rack of pamphlets for like oh “what to do if your bullied, suicidal, pregnant or all of the above” and there was one for online dating and I grabbed it like I was smuggling drugs, read it and promptly realized I have become someone who benefits from reading those pamphlets. I have reached a new low.

Okay this is random guys but for like a month and a half I have been freaking stuck at exactly 49 followers. No matter what 49 which I have decided is the most annoying number ever. Will anyone follow me just so I can be at 50.? Every time I look at my profile it’s like it’s teasing me because I’m so close!
