@IndigoRuby08 Currently, I am on hiatus cause exams. But there are a few things you can do:
I usually listen to music which vibes with the character I am writing about. It kindda gets my mind into a flow.
I sometimes even enact the situation the characters are in to get a better viewpoint and figure out what to do next or simply draw a Venn diagram of the situation. It helps ease the load when writer's block occurs due to difficult storyline or situations where you need to strategize.
Otherwise, I watch/read something (facts, quotes, videos, pictures, stories, movies, anything) which relates to the genre or characters or something from the story (objects, places, tribes (if any) etc.). It inspires new ideas and figure out new stuff which helps me gain momentum and interest.
Also, if you draw or do any form of art, it also helps. You can draw your characters/places/object from the story. While you do so, your brain starts to think about the thing you are drawing and that might subconsciously allow you to reap something.
I hope this helps :)
