I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but tomorrow is the Finale for THE LINE! The dreaded chapter that I have envisioned since I started writing for season 2.

I will keep this short and sweet as I will speak a lot of my feelings on this story in the a/n at the end of the chapter. I don’t think the 2000 character limit can truly capture how much I’ve changed from the past few months of completing season 2.

But this story has changed how I will tackle writing anything in the future. It shaped my standard of what I know I’m capable of and the type of quality I will strive for going forward.

Thank you all for the love and support. All the comments and engagement has been my motivator to keep going and I’ll forever be grateful for all of it.

For what comes next though… Well, I guess we’ll see. But I will see you all very soon, and enjoy the Finale tomorrow.

So... Chapter 16 of THE LINE is coming out tomorrow and I am still in pain of writing it.

I hadn't intended on it being as long as it is because it was honestly supposed to be a filler sort of chapter. But with how the season and story went, I'd been dreading writing it and had no idea of how to tackle it. Now that I have finished it, I am genuinely nervous/excited about how everyone is going to take it and wonder what else is going to be coming in the Finale.

But as for the Finale, I haven't started it and haven't entirely come up with a start. I know roughly what scenes I want to do and how everything is going to play out. It's hard to tell at this point, but there might be a chance I won't get it done for February 1st. Work is playing a huge factor, but expect it at the latest, February 3rd.

Thank you all for the love and support, and don't hate me after tomorrow.

The dreaded Chapter 15 of THE LINE will be out tomorrow, and I'm sad to say there will be no double upload. I have greatly underestimated the editing process for Chapter 15. So, for the safe bet, we'll the Finale will be released on February 1.

Now, Chapter 16 has been a sludge to get through. Although it answers a lot of things and sets up the end, the scenes have made it hard for me to get through without getting a little emotional. But I am almost done with it. I'm aiming to have it completed at least by Sunday.

The Finale. Uh, I have most of the ending already written, but everything before that is untouched. I also have some of the fight scenes in my head, but I don't want to take my attention too far from the chapters that still need to be worked on. But I think what I have for it is exactly what I wanted the end of this story to be.

But I'll save that stuff for after this is all done.

We're closing in on the end. Still trying to accept it, but I am excited to see it through. Enjoy the new chapter tomorrow!

Chapter 14 of THE LINE is coming out tomorrow, and it's 11.7k words long! So get your popcorn and get nice and cozy for the long run.

Writing the chapter had been challenging, to say the least. The first half of the chapter just took the wind out of my sails. But aside from that, I don't have much I can say without giving too much away. The title of the chapter speaks for itself.

Now, Chapter 15 is also done, but I'm still in the process of editing it. I wanna say it's looking to be 12k, maybe 13k words, but I was wrong the last time I guessed. As for what I feel like I can say, it isn't the saddest Chapter, in my opinion. It's the one that comes after. But I managed to get it done in 2-3 days, which I still am trying to process.

If I get Chapter 16 done before the 18th, there will be a double upload. But that is all from me and I hope you all enjoy Chapter 14 tomorrow!

You saying the chapter after chapter 15 is considered the saddest makes me scared for what’s gonna happen.

The update today is nothing too big. Only a small catch up on my progress and what my plan is for going forward.

So, Chapter 14 is nearly done. I am quite literally like maybe a page away and the rough draft will be finished. I have no other excuse for it taking so long besides the difficulty of having to put myself through the emotions and such. From what it's looking like, it's going to be 9k or 9.5k words, which also wasn't the plan, but can't change it now. And to add fuel to the evergrowing fire, the title of this chapter is, "Point of No Return."

Now, the dreaded episode/chapter everyone is afraid of (including myself). This chapter is going to easily be the hardest to write and I don't need to explain why. But as well as the other bits I have pre-written since I couldn't help myself. As for length, it's easily going to break 10k words... 10k words of pain...

Pretty much, from Chapter 14 onward is just going to be pure angst and I'm going to be emotionally drained when it's all said and done. So, please, join me on this rollercoaster and cry along with me.

I really love your book The Line. I literally feel scared for what’s to come, but that was from how invested I am into your story. I am so excited for what’s to come and no pressure when it comes to updates (I’m literally so invested in fanfics like yours I forgot to update my own arcane book

10k on THE LINE?!?!?

Thank you all for the love and support of the story! You all do not understand how relieved and happy I am knowing that this story has been living up to what I dreamed of. Anduin is a character I will never forget and love dearly, and although the story is closing in on its final 4 chapters, I am glad that you all have joined me on this journey.

In celebration of the milestone, I'm glad to announce that the next fic I do on Arcane will be called, "Now, Not Yet." It's a fem!oc x fem!oc and follows closely the oldest sibling of Vi and Powder. The second character will be close to Ekko and have a rather minor and nearly non-existent role in the first act of the first season. But in the last two acts, she will be more present.

As for right now, I don't want to divulge too much about the characters like their names because that will end up playing into the plot. It's a more mature tone as it seems I have become attracted to my oc's having trauma (I'm emotionally destroyed from writing THE LINE). What I can say is that the story won't take off the ground until I fully have arcs situated. If I want to make something better or just as good as THE LINE, I need to really invest myself into the characters. And since this is my first oc x oc fic, I want to come in prepared with something completed and polished when I let you all see it.

But once again, thank you all for the love on THE LINE. I hope each of you know how grateful I am for you're support. When season 2 first released, I had almost chickened out and decided to leave the story unfinished. Anxiety surrounding my own expectations and scared to not fulfil on the story I had envisioned. But now that we're here, I can say that I'm happy I followed through.

The next update for THE LINE will come Friday. But until then, have a fantastic day/night and thank you again!

I should also say, in update, I mean a post, not a chapter update
