@Armybrat213 Wow, uh... thanks a lot! :D 
          And no need to apologize, it's just that I thought that dropping the series as long as I am working on my actual novel project would be sort of reasonable.
          For I know how annoying and frustrating these endless waiting periods can be. And I don't think that it's definite, it just may be that I won't update for a whole long while and that's why I ask in the first place. Chapter 7 seemed like a nice "provisional ending" to me, you get what I mean? :)
          But since chapter 8 is finished I wasn't quite sure if it'd be right to just withhold it from you. So if you say you don't mind the missing results it'd be my pleasure to finally post the next chapter :D

CONCERNING "LOST MEMORIES":
          
          Soooo... how should I start?
          Well, just before I more or less dropped the story (not really dropped it, but started having trouble writing a story containing more than two up to three love interests) I finished chapter 8 - the story part at least. There are no results yet though.
          The question now is:
          Do you want me to update despite the fact that maybe there won't be any results any time soon? Let alone that there's little chance I'll be updating that story until I have more time for mere Fan Fiction again?
          Let me explain that statement - briefly! - So first of all I just started an important research to finally get started writing my first book (I mean an actual novel!). That's of prime importance now. After that, of course, comes writing the novel :')
          Still I might be able to spend some time writing the next chapters (but first the results of chapter 8!) of "Lost Memories" - or at least I hope so...
          
          CONCERNING THE NEW PROJECT:
          Sorry, but that's still in the planning stage if I might say so... Didn't figure out all the names of the important characters yet, haven't thought of how to put the legend (which will be rather important speaking of the second book) and I haven't quite done proper research on how to arrange the new world ^^;;
          
          Well, and that's it. Soooooooo...
          
          Do you want me to update the 8th chapter of "Lost Memories" or don't ya?

UPDATE - IMPORTANT - CONCERNING MY NEW PROJECT:
          
          Heya dear readers, friends and followers! :D
          As I already announced, I am going to write a new story, but this time it's going to be an "actual story/book", if you know what I mean. The Wattpad version will be a READER INSERT however, alongside a story dealing especially with three other protagonists and numerous other ORIGINAL CHARACTERS. You, as the reader, are going to be the fourth main character. For those of you who prefer FAN FICTIONS: The Wattpad version will be available as a ORIGINAL STORY as well as a FAN FICTION STORY, including characters from KINGDOM HEARTS, FINAL FANTASY and DEVIL MAY CRY mostly.
          
          Now, referring to the plot without giving away too much information already:
          The story is going to deal with 4 persons whose destiny is connected. One of those characters is going to be "you"/ [Reader] and it's taking place in the far future. It's half OC and half reader-insert like I said before and I guess I can already tell that it's going to be rather somber and dark, nevertheless not lacking romance :)
          
          As for "your"/ [Reader]'s LOVE INTEREST: 
          "You"/ [Reader] will have to make a choice because there will be two guys falling for "you"/ [Reader]. Speaking of the FAN FICTION VERSION these guys are going to be NOEL KREISS [FF XIII-2] and VANITAS [KH BBS].
          
          And that's it! I hope you're as excited about this as I am and I also hope that everyone's looking forward to the new story. As for me, I certainly am :D
