          (P.s. sorry for lack of updates about my mental health and for taking my books offline. I've been reworking Arcane Extinction into a full length novel, but Blood & Brass is on hiatus. I had a rollercoaster of a 2023 but slightly better outlook for 2024)

A non-update update for you all. I am still recovering from my mental health crisis, but I wanted to reassure you all that this isn't the end of my writing journey. Charlotte & Agatha won't let go of my heart that easily, and their stories will be resolved. Writing is happening, just not at any fulfilling sort of pace right now, and I don't want to make promises regarding an update schedule that I can't guarantee I'll keep.
          
          I hope you're all good, and I look forward to diving back into all your wonderful stories soon!

Hi all. Had a little mental health crisis over the weekend. Obviously that had an impact on me entering ONC Round 3. Doing okay now but not going to be very active for a spell while I work with the appropriate support teams to get myself back on an even keel again. I'll be finishing off my book club assignments for the week and then taking a break. All my love to you guys, looking forward to joining you again in this wonderful world of fiction soon.

Arcane Extinction made it to Round 2 of ONC!!! (Someone should really give this girl a break and by someone I mean me and you know I absolutely will not.)

          I actually updated this two days ago, but I completely forgot to pop an announcement up! 
          
          Round 2 ONC results are out either today or tomorrow. I really do hope to get through, but I will continue to update even if I don't! I should have another chapter ready to post tomorrow, and I've got three nearly ready in draft, which will be up by Sunday and uh.. a few more chapters left to write this week.
          
          If I do get through Round 2 there's going to be a scramble to the finish line to be ready to submit next week for sure! Luckily my husband is going on a "boy's weekend" so I'm going to hunker down and hyperfocus on writing!

          The real will-they-won't-they love story of this year's ONC is between the word count and me. Will I or won't I sneak under the 40k limit?? Who knows???
          
          There will be A LOT of updates happening over the course of the next nine days guys. Hope you're ready for the most regular updating I will ever do in my life.
          
          Also PSA, my mental health has taken a bit of a beating this week, but I'm still pushing on through to make the deadline! Replying to comments, on the other hand, has been less of a priority but please know that I am reading them and they make my heart so full!

Hey all, this is a "no update" update. With the end of ONC only two weeks away, I'm hunkering down and sprinting to the finish line with 13k left in my word budget and six chapters left to write. It's going to be a close call! 
          
          Once ONC is done and dusted, I'm going to be spending a couple of weeks reworking my outline for Blood & Brass so that I can get back to a comfortable posting schedule. I expect I will have a further update for you on that in mid-May.
          
          ONC will not be the end of Arcane Extinction! The world of the Arcane is so rich with stories that I cannot let it go that easily! I'll be extending AE into a full-length novel, and I have plans for a novel set in the same universe, but I'm keeping the details under wraps!
          
          How are you all getting on with your ONCs?
