            And yes… I can give you this much without spoiling everything: I am not writing all of this pain just to leave you devastated at the end. 
            
            They still have things to survive, conversations to have, wounds to heal, and I’m definitely going to make you suffer a little more because apparently that is who I am as a person  but I believe in giving my characters an ending that feels earned after everything I put them through.

Babes, I promise it is complete chaos when I’m daydreaming and building up scenarios  But thankfully, I’m not actively writing every single story at once. A few of them are already fully written, and I just post chapters from those on a schedule. Usually I’ll hyperfixate, write like an absolute maniac, and get around 10–15 chapters ahead before I even start posting anything. So from the outside it probably looks way more organized than it actually feels in my brain  It’s basically all organized chaos over here, but thank you so much for saying this. It really means a lot that you enjoy the updates and all the work that goes into them. ❤️

I love Simon, but I don’t always want the reader to be another soldier with matching trauma and a classified file somewhere  It’s so much more fun for me to put him in completely different situations and see what happens when this giant, terrifying man has to deal with a baker, a neighbor, a princess, or someone who has absolutely nothing to do with the military.
