Off-Duty Series — A Little Note
Along with the main storyline of Infected Heart, you’ll find short bonus moments called the Off-Duty Series.
These are not part of the chapter’s plot, nor a separate novel—they are completely independent, self-contained mini-scenes.
Think of them as tiny pauses, fun little detours where Yuri and Lucien are off duty, away from missions, danger, and the weight of everything else.
In these Off-Duty scenes, you’ll see them doing ordinary or silly things: walking through markets, visiting cake shops, arguing over tiny matters, teasing each other, or simply sharing quiet time.
Each scene is meant to be entertaining, fun, or heartwarming, and does not connect to the events of the chapter itself.
Each Off-Duty scene carries a different mood, which is why they’re titled things like Off-Duty Love, Off-Duty Drama, or Off-Duty Chaos, depending on the vibe of that particular moment.
These short tales are meant to be comforting—a gentle, happy breath after the intensity of the chapter—a reminder that even in a broken world, there are still soft, human moments worth holding onto.
